God is Love. This is how God showed his love among us:
He sent his one and only son into the world that we might live through him.
- 1 John 4:8-9
You are loved. You are welcomed.
Each week we gather on Sundays to teach, sing about, celebrate, and learn to live in light of a God who loved us so much that he would do anything to be in relationship with us. We believe he literally entered into all of the messiest parts of the human existence - ultimately even an unjust death - to demonstrate his love, claim victory over all that is broken in our world, and to invite us into life . . . life to the full.
Perhaps what you have been taught about God looks different than this? We invite you to consider that the Bible means what it says when it tells us that Jesus - a loving God in the flesh - is the exact representation of God. (Hebrews 1:3) And we would love to have you join us as we learn to receive this love and live in light of it.
Regardless of your past or present, your doubts, questions, baggage, fears, or desires. God loves you and welcomes you. He does it perfectly. We aim to offer you the same love and welcome, although we know - despite our best efforts - that our welcome is imperfect. You are loved and welcome, though.
Sunday morning is a family experience. All ages begin together in our main gathering at 10:30 am for music and the beginning of our time together. Part way through the morning kids (aged 2–grade 5) are dismissed to a program just for them. [If/when we get enough teachers and leaders, we are hoping to resume a Jr. High (grades 6-8) class as well.] All of our teachers and leaders have been screened through criminal reference checks and our Child and Youth Protection Policy. If you have a little one in arms, we have a comfortable nursing/playroom just off of our main space where you can sit in comfort and listen to the service while getting some level of privacy.
